Hi, I’m Joshua Winkler – most people call me Josh. I’m a Cinematographer and Gaffer currently based in Hamburg, Germany, though my work often takes me all over.
I love creating – especially the things we perceive with our eyes. Vision, I believe, is one of our most emotional senses and I’m fascinated by how images can transport us, evoke memories, and stir feelings words sometimes can’t reach.
Over the past few years, I’ve built broad experience across both narrative and commercial projects, always striving to find new and better ways to tell stories through imagery.
